Looking at one of my paintings is often like a faded memory and therefore my works are "consumed, eroded by time".
Born in 1974, resident in the Pescara area, I am self-taught and my studies have been completely different, being graduated in Economics.
After a first period dedicated to the sculpture there has been a long stop that lasted almost twenty years.
From December 2014 I started again with the "two dimensions" for reasons of time and space, leaving sculpture aside and dedicating myself to the realization of acrylic paintings, producing over 500 works in about five years.
I love to paint abstract landscapes but in the last period I am pushing myself to paint also faces of people both imaginary and really existing.
For me painting is "blocking time » in that exact moment; looking at one of my paintings is often like a faded memory and therefore my works are "consumed, eroded by time". Sometimes the subject of my works are glimpses of walls also eroded by time, with mosses and mushrooms that - over time - grow on the surface.
Coming from a beautiful experience with the manipulation of clay, I love sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch, and my paintings are often characterized by reliefs that are clearly perceptible both touching them and looking at them.
"The time that passes inexorably is the main theme of my works."
